Pyramid Billiards is often known as Russian Billiards or Russian Pyramid and is played with 15 white balls racked in the form of a triangle and 1 coloured ball, which is used as the cue ball to start the game. The object of the game is to be the first player to pocket eight balls (regardless of their number or colour) using any ball as the cue ball, except during the opening break.
Free Pyramid is played with 15 white balls racked in the form of a triangle and 1 coloured ball, which is used as the cue ball to start the game. The object of the game is to be the first player to score eight points prior to their opponent, each ball being worth 1 point.
Dynamic Pyramid is played with 15 white balls racked in the form of a triangle and 1 coloured ball, which is used as the cue ball to start the game. The object of the game is to score eight points before your opponent. When a cue ball is pocketed, any object ball is removed from the table.
Combined Pyramid is played with 15 white balls racked in the form of a triangle and 1 coloured ball, which is used as the cue ball to start the game. The object of the game is to score eight points before your opponent. When a cue ball is pocketed, any object ball can be removed from the table by the player.
Classical Pyramid is played with 15 white balls racked in a set formation with 1 coloured ball used as the cue ball. The object of the game is to score a minimum of 71 points before your opponent. Each ball is worth the value marked on the ball, with the exception of the number 1 ball which is worth 11 points.
