Billiard Table Bowls

There are a number of ways to play the game of bowls, with the most popular versions of the game being lawn bowls and table bowls. The basic rules of the game are the same, however, the playing area and the bowls equipment differs.

To play a game of bowls, you will require a set of marked bowls which have a bias in weight, so that the bowls follow a curved path, plus a jack, which is a small white ball. The goal of the game is to have more bowls closer to the jack than the opponent.

The main difference between lawn bowls and table bowls is that lawn bowls is played on a bowling green, whilst table bowls are played on top of a billiards table. Plus, when playing table bowls, instead of rolling the bowls and the jack by hand, they are rolled down a wooden chute. At Hamilton Billiards, we supply table bowls sets with wooden chute, antique bowls and boxed bowls.
