New Convertible Dining Tables

The Convertible Diners illustrated are manufactured to customers’ specific requirements. We can reproduce traditional or contemporary designs using timbers such as walnut, beech, cherry, oak, mahogany, tulipwood and decorative veneers.

The tables in the section are available in six sizes 5’ x 2 ½’ (153 x x 76 cm), 6’ x 3’ (183 x 91.5 cm), 7’ x 3 ½’ (214 x107 cm), 8’ x 4’ (244 x 126 cm), 9’ x 4 ½’ (274 x 137 cm) and 10’ x 5’ (305 x 152 cm). Our tables are fitted with either a simple dual-height mechanism that has been successfully used for over 100 years or an alternative wind-up mechanism that makes raising and lowering of the table extremely easy. Both systems are fully guaranteed.

It is extremely important for all good quality Convertible Dining Tables that these are manufactured with precision ground slate beds. It is essential for good accurate playing, for fast response from the cushion and for long term use. Slate beds should be on all convertible dining tables including rollover models. (It has been known that one company manufactures rollover models with a wooden bed – this is not acceptable and play will be distorted in the short term and certainly in the long term). These tables are expensive to purchase and the playing surface must reflect in the quality of the game as well as the appearance of the table. All of our tables are manufactured with precision ground slate beds.
