Antique Snooker Dining Tables

Dual-Height Billiard Tables/Dining Tables have been manufactured since the 1880's and are available in four sizes 5' x 2 ½' (153 x x 76 cm), 6' x 3' (183 x 91.5 cm), 7' x 3 ½' (214 x107 cm), 8' x 4' (244 x 126 cm). It is extremely rare to find original Convertible Tables in larger sizes.

It is extremely important for all good quality Convertible Dining Tables that they are manufactured with precision ground slate beds. It is essential for good accurate playing, for fast response from the cushion and for long term use. Slate beds should be on all convertible dining tables including rollover models.

There were a number of mechanisms to raise and lower the tables from the dining height to the playing height, including rise & fall lift up, wind up and rollover systems. Some of the systems are more fool proof and reliable than others.
